What has your journey at KAR Global looked like?
It’s been fabulous. I started my career in 2000 as a data tester, moved on to being a support data base administrator. Then, I moved on to being a project manager and now an engineering manager. So I’ve grown with the company.
What is something you are most proud of during your time with KAR Global?
The sense of accomplishment in growing with the company. Seeing the company grow. Going from dominating the physical vehicle auction landscape to now becoming almost completely digital. It’s really exciting to be a part of it.
What do you like the most about working at KAR Global?
You are set up for success. You will be successful if you are self-motivated.
What’s a piece of advice for newcomers to the company?
Be passionate about what you’re doing and align your career with those skills.
What’s your favorite aspect of technology that is integrated into your everyday work?
How it always allows us to solve our problems in new, faster and more efficient ways as it continues to evolve. We constantly innovate and make the customer experiences the timeliness, quality and completeness of our data. The way we do that is through technology evolving.
