What has your journey at ADESA looked like?
I started off as a regular mechanic (level 2) and now, I am a level 4 technician.
What is something you are most proud of during your time with ADESA?
Since I started running the shop, we’ve really raised the bar and have been recognized by internal leadership for how well we’re doing.
What do you like the most about working at ADESA?
It’s like a family. I was a bit apprehensive at the beginning but was immediately welcomed. We all depend on each other and have each other’s backs.
What’s a piece of advice for newcomers to the company?
Don’t be afraid to learn new skills and don’t be stuck in your old ways. There are so many new things you can learn if you’re open to it.
What’s your favorite aspect of your work?
I never work on the same kind of car – that’s my favorite part of the job. One day, it’s a Mercedes, another it’s a Ford Fusion. So the job always varies, and I never get bored. No day is the same – every day is an adventure.
