Moving More than Cars, CarsArrive Makes a Move for Hunger

As one of the country’s largest auto shipping providers, CarsArrive Network moves a lot of cars every day. And when we learned about an opportunity to use our resources to give back to the community by moving more than just cars, we said “We’re in!”

We are proud to be a part of Move For Hunger, a national non-profit organization committed to fighting hunger by reducing food waste. By joining a network of more than 1,000 moving and relocation companies in North America, we are helping to collect and deliver food to food banks across the U.S. and Canada.

As people pack their homes to move, whether to a new home a few blocks away or one across the country, they are often faced with a difficult choice of throwing away food rather than packing and moving it. Well, Move For Hunger collects all that non-perishable food and takes it to food banks, where people in need can access it. In fact, since it began in 2009, Move For Hunger has collected nearly 14 million pounds of food and helped provide more than 11 million meals to people in need. How could you not support such a wonderful cause?

CarsArrive has the resources to help, and we are doing just that. As part of the relocation industry, we have joined other moving and logistics companies in this fight to feed those in need and are taking an active role in helping reduce food waste. The CarsArrive commitment is to donate a portion of our revenue from every car we ship to Move For Hunger efforts.

At CarsArrive, we have enjoyed incredible success, and we want to share that success with the communities we serve. Joining the Move For Hunger effort seems like a perfect fit for us.
